Amanda Dufner, professional golfer Jason Dufner‘s wife, is living life to the fullest. Here she is in Atlanta with a monkey on her head.

Meanwhile, Jason has played well enough to earn a spot on the Ryder Cup Team, but is dealing with two bulging disks in his neck and hasn’t played since the PGA Championship when he pulled out during the first round. After leaving the PGA Dufner told reporters, “There’s no point to be out there hacking it around. It’s just pointless.” When asked about a return Dufner answered, “It could be next month, next year, 2016, but not until I’m healthy.”

Hopefully Dufner actually does take the time off to recover fully before making a return, unlike someone else who continues to suffer the same injuries because he won’t give his body time to heal.

Nick Young shared this photo with Iggy Azalea on Instagram after the VMAs last night, but deleted it at some point. At past points in their relationship, Swaggy P has said about the pop star’s ass, “What I’m about to do with this shouldn’t be legal,” and wouldn’t leave her side on the red carpet of the Billboard Awards when the paparazzi didn’t want the Lakers guard in the picture. I hope this couple makes it.

Russell Westbrook announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Nina Earl on Instagram Wednesday night. In an interview with ESPN the Magazine last year, the Oklahoma City guard said that he’d met Ms. Earl at UCLA, and that she was studying for her master’s in psychology. One would presume that Westbrook will go all out on his suit game for the wedding ceremony.

Colleen Crowley, aka Johnny Manziel’s girlfriend, likes to wear clothing designed by a company called No Rulez NY, as her Instagram account can attest. Tuesday afternoon, TMZ reported Crowley inked a modeling contract with the company. In a twist worthy of the Bard himself, Crowley took to Twitter to dispute TMZ’s reporting, writing she doesn’t have a contract and merely promotes the brand’s clothing.

Samantha Ponder brought her daughter to work this week. Young Bowden Ponder was dressed as some sort of sheriff princess when she met LSU coach Les Miles. The coach and the baby then had a staring contest which is the closest LSU will get to a shot at FSU this season. (Bowden is named after Christian’s college coach, Bobby Bowden.) Joseph Fauria, the Lions’ dancing tight end, tweeted and deleted about Russell Wilson stealing his girlfriend last night. It seems that Fauria has been dating former WWE Diva, Erika Hammond. Over the last couple months, Hammond has posted multiple picture to Instagram of herself and Fauria and plenty of Lions gear, but other than that not much has been written about the couple.

Or former couple as it may be. Fauria’s tweet implies that Hammond has switched teams and gotten with the Russell Wilson. Fauria went so far as to include Brennan Clay in the tweet. Clay, who outed his wife for cheating with the Cowboys’ DeMarco Murray. Perhaps Clay is a pioneer in athletes publicizing players stealing girlfriends.

It should also be noted that Hammond retweeted a Vine of Fauria twerking yesterday so maybe this was just an excuse to use the “spray tan” hashtag? Maybe the most interesting part of all this (depending on your definition of “interesting”) is that Fauria is now teammates with Golden Tate. You may have heard some rumors about Tate and Wilson and Tate’s wife that surfaced after Tate left Seattle. Percey Harvin also might have gotten involved. The Lions and Seahawks are the two current NFC Wildcard teams.

Justin Brent, the Notre Dame freshman wide reciever to gained notoriety this Fall when he was dating / hanging out with porn actress Lisa Ann, has a new lady friend. Brent’s latest girl is the Intrnet famous “Elke The Stallion.” If you need a few minutes to process that, I’ll understand.

“Elke the Stallion” has a NSFW Instagram (246k followers) and appeared in a NSFW music video for a song called “Bubble Butt” (13 million views). She bills herself as an urban model and “Internet icon” and touts measurements that will make your head hurt: 36DD-30-50. Again, if you need some time, everyone understands.

According to TMZ, the 19-year old Brent met the nearly-40 Elke online and they met when Notre Dame traveled to California to play USC late last month.

Justin Brent, the Notre Dame wide receiver who likes to date Internet-famous older women, is apparently in coach Brian Kelly’s doghouse. Brent, a freshman out of Speedway, Indiana, has more appearances on TMZ than the field this season. (#hottakealert) This prompted coach Brian Kelly to tell the media that Brent is “easily distracted.” Presumably by women who have hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers. Presumably. There’s also a chance Brent is just too focused with his studies.

Kelly Hall, the fiancée of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, took to Instagram today to decry the NFL’s pending one-game suspension of Ndamukong Suh for stepping on Aaron Rodgers’ calf. As of now, Suh will be suspended for the Lions playoff game against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Hall juxtaposed a picture of Stafford’s leg from the game and a quote from Fox’s officiating guru Mike Pereira. She added the caption, “Thank you. Pretty sure Matthew’s leg looks a lot damn worse right now from when he got stepped on/cleated in the same game. But it wasn’t Suh.. And he’s not Aaron Rodgers, so no one would think twice about it. #nflbias #givemeabreak #DETROITvsEVERYBODY”

It’s almost as if she pulled that directly off a Lions message board. You can almost feel the heat emanating from the words off the screen.

Suh’s appeal is pending. If it’s not too late, I’d suggest using the tired-and-true George Costanza, “Was that wrong? Should I not have not that?” defense for stepping backward onto Rodgers.

Some heartbreaking news from Kansas City today — Aaron Murray and Kacie McDonnell have called off their engagement. The Chiefs backup quarterback and former Philadelphia television traffic reporter had been engaged since October.

Philly.com spoke with McDonnell on Tuesday, noting she also deleted a picture of a potential wedding venue in the Philadelphia area from her Instagram account recently.

“I’m loving my career in Kansas City,” McDonnell told me, confirming that Murray ended their engagement. “I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best, it’s best to part ways. I’m moving on with my life.”

Earlier this week came word that soccer power couple Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk broke up after five years.

Love is dead.

Kevin Love is dating actress Cody Horn. They’ve been together since at least last summer when PlayerWives posted on the couple. Love is on the cover of the latest issue of GQ. For the shoot he looks incredibly thin and, depending on the outfit, somewhere between Tom Brady and Chris Pratt. No wonder he’s dating a pretty girl!

Horn, the daughter of Disney chairman Alan Horn, is probably best known for her role in Magic Mike or her 10-episode stint on Rescue Me. Man, dating an actress is definitely a bad sign for the Cavaliers’ chances of resigning Love this offseason, right? At least, if I was going to write an article about how Kevin Love was as good as signed with the Lakers this summer, that’s something I might explore.

If Robert Flores was looking for beef, he got it. Earlier today, Flores took an unprovoked shot at Iggy Azalea on SportsCenter. It was weird then and it is even weirder now that Nick Young has responded. Swaggy P took to Twitter to tell Flores that he should basically mind his own business and even suggested they might have a face-to-face meeting. It will be interesting to see how ESPN handles this. Presumably, they don’t want their business partner (the NBA) mad because they’re making fun of basketball wives in between highlights packages. More on this as it hopefully continues to develop in a humorous fashion.
