Alex Nicholson made his UFC debut last night against Misha Cirkunov. Nicholson was feeling good coming into the fight, having won 5 straight and successfully proposing to his girlfriend at weigh-ins on Friday. (Video above.) His UFC debut went… less well. Nicholson tapped in the 2nd round when his jaw popped out of socket. And yes, the UFC on FOX YouTube account has uploaded a special version where you can hear the pop.
Kate Upton was one of the main attractions for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue from 2012 – 2014, but she hasn’t appeared in the 2015 or 2016 editions of the annual publication. Seems odd, yes?
In 2011, Upton made her SI Swimsuit debut and was named Rookie of the Year. She then appeared on the covers of the 2012 and 2013 editions of the Swimsuit Issue. In 2014 she was again featured as Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge and Chrissy Teigen shared the cover of the 50th Anniversary Issue. Since then, nothing.
Upton was arguably one of the most popular SI swim models of the 21st century. She even landed a regular Sports Illustrated cover in 2013, alongside her family members, B.J. and Justin Upton. Heck, when you click the search function on the SI Swim website, she’s the first automatically generated result.
So whatever happened to Kate Upton? She still pops up from time to time at sporting events – like last night’s NBA All-Star Game – with boyfriend Justin Verlander. IMDB says he has two movies coming out in 2016. So has Upton decided she’s too big for Sports Illustrated? Perhaps she’s put a price on her participation that Sports Illustrated can’t or won’t match? Or could it be something more nefarious? Only Upton and SI know for sure.
Paulina Gretzky’s Instagram page is fairly well known. The daughter of hockey legend Wayne has over 400,000 followers and is known for posting quite provocative pictures. While her fiancé Dustin was playing in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, Paulina reminded him, as she has done several times – here and here – what he’s coming home to. Or she just wanted to wish everyone else a happy Valentine’s Day.
Colin Kaepernick and MTV “Girl Code” star Nessa spent Valentine’s together at a fundraiser for Camp Taylor, which is a camp that serves children with heart disease.

Kaepernick’s relationship with Nessa, who is the ex-girlfriend of Aldon Smith, was rumored to have caused strife in the 49ers locker room last season. It remains to be seen whether Kaepernick will be back with the team now that Chip Kelly is the new head coach.
Daniel Berger has no PGA Tour wins under his belt, but the 2015 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year does have Tori Slater by his side. The two posed for a picture with Mark Wahlberg that Slater uploaded to her Instagram account during the Northern Trust Pro-Am.
So, Brent Musburger, quarterbacks aren’t the only ones who get the girls.
James Harden and Khloe Kardashian broke up earlier this month according to People Magazine. The pair had been together since early summer and who knows how long the relationship really lasted, but however short it may have been, James Harden apparently had enough time to cheat according to Khloe.
Khloe talked about the break up on a recent episode of – I am not making this up – “Kocktails With Khloe” on the fyi channel. She said that Harden was the one who pushed for monogamy. (via E!):
“I’m not into, like, I’ve always said, you know, it’s long distance, it’s this or that, I’ve always said we don’t need to be monogamous,” said Khloe. “Like, you know, there’s a lot of s–t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A., like let’s just—let’s see each other when we see each other.”
“He wanted that,” she responded. “I was, I mean I wanted it, but I wanted to be realistic. I was like, you know what, it’s unfair. I’m working so much right now, you’re in Houston, let me just say, we don’t need to be committed. Nope. He sought me out, he wanted to be committed, and you know, then wasn’t committed, so KoKo had to let him go-go.”
“KoKo had to go-go.” She actually said that. I actually watched the video to see that a real actual person said those words out loud about herself. Amazing. She also added this:
“I was like great, this guy’s in it for the long haul, let’s do it,” said Khloe. “Uh, found out he wasn’t, and I got the receipts to prove it.”
Receipts! James Harden apparently leaves a paper trail. That’s the problem with playing too many minutes – no time to throw out receipts.
And as long as we’re here, I’d like to point out that Snooki has a house-flipping show on fyi called “Nicole and Jionni’s Shore Flip.” I feel like we’ve all learned a lot today.
Mike and Ashli Evans got married earlier this month in Houston (with Evans’ former teammate Johnny Manziel in attendance). Johnny Manziel was seen at Story nightclub in Miami on Thursday according to TMZ. That’s allegedly Manziel in the video, wearing a hat and sunglasses while drinking straight from a bottle of champagne.
As TMZ points out, this was the same day that his domestic violence case – the one that left Colleen Crowley with a ruptured eardrum – was referred to a grand jury. It was just a week ago that Von Miller told us that Manziel was “on the right track.”
Chris Rock did a quick interlude during the Academy Awards where Girl Scouts from his daughter’s troop hustled cookies. Olivia Munn seized the opportunity to get Thin Mints, which are the second best Girl Scout Cookies behind Tagalongs (@ me if you’ve got a problem with that), and Aaron Rodgers got Savannah Smiles, which are lemon-flavored cookies topped with powder sugar. I’ve never actually had those but can’t imagine they’d be appetizing?
Paulina Gretzky joined Snapchat over the weekend thanks to Rickie Fowler. Both have a very large social media presence and apparently Fowler convinced Paulina she needed to hop on the wagon because all the kids are doing it.
The videos were very underwhelming, unless you like people, including Dustin Johnson, with dog faces, but we don’t expect that to last long as she gets used to the platform.
Russell Wilson and Ciara got engaged on Friday. They are still somewhere exotic-looking. Wilson, who may or may not realize how his social media missives are perceived from the outside, says that fiancee sounds better than girlfriend, and receives a kiss on the cheek.
Floyd Mayweather and Ramarni Bell have become fast friends since meeting at an expensive fan meet-and-greet on Feb. 12. Then she was a shop worker in England making less than $10 an hour. Now she’s gallivanting around the globe taking in basketball games and lounging on beaches with the boxer. You know, typical friend stuff.
Bell’s mother has shot down the idea there’s any romance happening.
Mandy Ball said it is ‘daft’ to think her daughter is dating the 38-year-old boxer, appearing to back up claims that the New Look shop assistant is dating AA car mechanic Andre Brown, also 19.
She said: ‘She’s only 19 and she’s got a boyfriend. I have spoken to her since she landed and she says she is having a whale of a time.
‘Floyd asked her if she wanted a holiday in America and why would she refuse. It’s the trip of a lifetime.’

Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Josh Smith is dating Breana Dodd. The pair are vacationing together on Spring Break. You know… the anti-Jim Harbaugh “Spring Break should be sacrosanct” crowd may have a point.
Sam Bradford has made $78 million over his six-year NFL career. He has another $22 million guaranteed coming to him from the Philadelphia Eagles for the next two years. It was time to settle down, apparently.
TMZ is reporting that Bradford and his girlfriend, former Arkansas Razorbacks golfer Emma Lavy, are engaged.
Per the Arkansas website, Lavy enjoys baked potatoes and has four golf-playing sisters.
Darius Slay, the Detroit Lions cornerback, is dating Jennifer Williams, a senior basketball player at Division II Southwestern Oklahoma State University. No clue when they met, but the couple’s social media trail goes back a few months.
Slay, 25, went to Mississippi State before being picked in the 2nd round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Williams averaged 10 points in just 15 minutes a game for SWOSU this season.
Alex Rodriguez is dating Anne Wojcicki according to Page Six. At the very least, this is the most intriguing relationship rumor of A-Rod’s career. Wojcicki, a 42-year old biologist, is the co-founder and CEO of 23andMe, a genetic ancestry company. Via Page Six:
A source told us of their new relationship, “Alex and Anne are spending time together and have been on a few dates. It is very new. He finds her interesting, inspirational and very smart.”
Of course that’s how A-Rod would describe his girlfriend. All that’s missing is a cliche about playing hard.
Wojcicki is also the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin. And one of her sisters is the CEO of YouTube. Alex Rodriguez is a former infielder who is currently a designated hitter.
Paulina Gretzky joined Snapchat, we already told you that much already, but now she’s starting to slowly post more videos on the social platform. On Thursday night, Paulina uploaded the video above, in which it appears Dustin Johnson does not want to be featured.
Kate Upton, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl, may be dating Babe Ruth according to a recent tweet from the Baseball Hall of Famer. Ruth tweeted that Upton was his date for Easter in a since deleted Tweet. Luckily, we got a screen grab and found a picture of the couple. Ruth, who spent the early portion of his career with the Boston Red Sox before he was traded to the New York Yankees where he won four of his seven World Series rings, has been married twice.
Upton was previously rumored to be dating Tigers’ pitcher Justin Verlander (and Mark Sanchez) though she said she was single for Valentine’s Day. Upton was recently asked to the prom by a high school senior, but turned him down. Perhaps we now know what was on her schedule that caused her to turn him down – The Babe!
UPDATE: April Fools! Kate Upton and Babe Ruth are not actually dating.

Kelly Stafford, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew, was in Miami for an apparent bachelorette party. The weather looks like it was better there than in much of the country.
Rickie Fowler is a social media whiz. He is always updating his Instagram and Snapchat accounts, but we haven’t seen a lady at his side since he and Alexis Randock split. Now it seems the latest rumor is that Fowler is dating former Bachelor contestant Lauren Barr. Both went to Oklahoma State and have been seen in pictures together.
